The MLPO Scouting Bureau provides a centralized scouting internet portal that allows all 30 Major League teams to acquire the best available information and video footage for all baseball prospects across the globe.

The MLPOSB receives letters, phone calls, emails, and video submissions from college coaches, parents, MLPO scouts, as well as the players themselves in efforts to get to the Major Leagues.

Each year, the MLPOSB conducts several MLPO Summer Games throughout the country where players can go and showcase their skills.

The MLPOSB uses a unique system to evaluate talent.  We grade prospects on a scale of 1-10 in 5 categories - hitting, power, speed, defense, and pitching - 10 being a Major League Prospect. 

Hitters are graded based on their bat speed as well as hand eye coordination.

Pitchers are graded on their command of pitches ranging from fastball MPH to various types of breaking balls they may have.
